As a pediatric dentist, I hope to help create a better quality of life for children so they can achieve their dreams and goals. Oral health seems like a small thing, but it can have a very large impact on a child’s well-being. I have been blessed with the opportunity to become a part of dentistry and fortunate to share my knowledge with others.

My Timberlane family includes the families that I have the privilege to treat, and the employees of our practice that make my career fun and enjoyable. The people of Vermont deserve the highest quality of dental treatment and we constantly strive to make this possible. A great part of my job is helping a child love his or her smile and teaching children the importance of oral healthcare.

From the infant to the college student, I love every stage of life’s journey and the joys and challenges that come along with helping to provide dental care. There is never a dull moment with kids, and I look forward to what each day brings in the office.

Education and Continuing Education

I graduated from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in engineering and management, and went on to the S.U.N.Y. Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where I graduated in 2006. I received a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Women’s & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo in 2008. I am board certified in pediatric dentistry from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and licensed to deliver conscious sedation.

Continuing education reveals trends in approaches to dentistry. We use these resources to help our patients with up-to-date delivery of dental care. It allows us to learn the latest dental techniques and bring fresh ideas to our practice. I attend many regional and national meetings, since I am required to complete extensive continuing education courses that support my surgical position at the UVM Medical Center and my board certification.

Outside the Office

I am originally from Lockport, NY and now live in Hinesburg with my wife Anna, daughter Emma, and sons Jack and Bennett. My family and I value the quality of life that Vermont has to offer.

I enjoy spending my time outside of work with my family and friends. We feel very fortunate to live in the area and love spending our time on Lake Champlain in the summer or at the mountains in the winter. I love wakeboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, and swimming. I am a member of the US Masters swim team and enjoy passing my love of swimming and other sports on to our children.
