I have always known that Orthodontics is my calling. The sense of fulfillment that I gain from improving my patient’s health, confidence, and overall quality of life is truly unparalleled. Orthodontics is a passion that was first sparked by my personal experience as a patient when I was younger, and only grew along with my love of science and desire to help people by making a difference in their lives. The ability to form long lasting relationships, the blending of both art and science, and the reward of seeing the increased confidence that my patients experience as a result of their treatment are just a few of the things that help make this profession so special.
It is my personal commitment to treat each patient as if they are a member of my family, and to achieve the best possible result for their smile, oral health, and overall wellbeing. It is truly a privilege to be a part of such a rewarding profession and I am dedicated to ensuring that my patients benefit from it as much as I do.
Education and Continuing Education
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY in 2005, where I studied Biology. Following my graduation from Colgate, I earned a Wilderness-EMT certification and spent three wonderful years as a professional ski patroller and mountain biking guide in Crested Butte, Colorado, enjoying the mountain lifestyle thoroughly.
Moving back east in 2008, I returned to school and earned a Master of Arts in Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine. Continuing my academic journey, I moved to New York City in 2010, attending Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014.
Following dental school, I served for three years as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant and performing General Dentistry and Oral Surgery procedures in treating Sailors and Marines at Marine Corps Recruit Depot-Parris Island, South Carolina.
My postdoctoral training in Orthodontics was completed at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in NYC, where I earned my Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in June 2020.

Outside the Office
A native New Englander, having grown up on the shores of Long Island Sound in Milford, CT boating, fishing, and lobstering, the region has always held a special place in my heart. Having spent many a winter weekend skiing the slopes of northern Vermont, sparking my passion for the sport and for the mountains, I always knew that Vermont was where I belonged. I couldn’t be more excited to finally realize my dream of calling the Green Mountain State home!
When I am not in the office, you can find me pursuing one of my many athletic and outdoors interests. Skiing is a passion as I’ve chased powder all over the world from Colorado to Japan, and I can’t wait to be hitting the slopes and exploring the backcountry whenever I can here in VT. Other interests include hiking, boating, running, mountain biking, fly fishing, golf, and ice hockey. When I’m not out being active, I also enjoy relaxing with a good history book. My fiancée, Brooke, and I currently live in Burlington, where we enjoy exploring the many restaurants, breweries, and other activities that the city has to offer.
