Orthodontics allows me to combine two of my interests: fine arts and health sciences. Being able to give my patients a great smile and restore their dental health is very rewarding.
I have been practicing orthodontics for more than 30 years with no plans to retire. I still look forward to going to the office, seeing team members and colleagues, and providing the best possible care for my patients. That never gets old. I am very fortunate to have found a wonderful career and have worked with terrific people from all walks of life.
Education and Continuing Education
I received my Bachelor of Arts in natural sciences and studio arts from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA in 1979, and graduated from the University of Connecticut’s dental school in 1983. I received my certificate in orthodontics from the University of Connecticut in 1986.
Continuing education gives me the tools to provide the highest level of orthodontic treatment possible. Our patients deserve the best care that can be provided, and continuing education keeps me abreast of advances in the field of orthodontics. In addition to being board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, I also complete continuing education and am an active member of the:
- American Association of Orthodontists
- American Dental Association
- Northeastern Society of Orthodontists
- Vermont State Dental Society
Outside the Office
Originally from New Canaan, CT, I now live in Shelburne. My wife Marie and I have five children: Hunter, Sam, Molly, Holly, and Harrison. When I am out of the office, you can find me doing something athletic with my family, or pursuing a trout or salmon far off the beaten path.
