Orthodontists must complete four years of dental school and an additional two to three years of specialty training in the use of corrective appliances (braces, retainers, expanders, headgear, splints, etc.) to prevent and correct the problems caused by an improper bite (malocclusion).
Dr. Lundberg came to Vermont for the opportunity to join
Timberlane Dental’s unique, multi-specialty practice.
Before coming to Vermont, he graduated from S.U.N.Y. at
Stonybrook, NY in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science and from
its School of Dental Medicine in 1994. He received an M.S.
and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of
Connecticut in Farmington, CT in 1997. He is board
certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of
the American Dental Association, American Association of
Orthodontics, Vermont State Dental Society, and a Delegate
of the American Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Fischer has been a practicing orthodontist for 28 years.
He received a B.S. from the University of Notre Dame in
1972, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School
of Dental Medicine in 1976 and received his M.S. in
Orthodontics at Marquette University in 1978. He is board
certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is
presently on the faculty at Harvard University School of
Dental Medicine, Orthodontics. He is a member of the Vermont
State Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the
American Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Ziegler received his B.A. in Natural Sciences and Studio
Arts from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA in 1979, and
graduated from the University of Connecticut’s dental
school in 1983. He received his Certificate in
Orthodontics from the University of Connecticut in 1986.
He is board certified by the American Association of
Orthodontics, and a member of the Vermont State Dental
Society and the Vermont Association of Orthodontics.
