Dr. Steven Fischer

Dr. Fischer values his patient’s time as he values his own time, and gets great satisfaction from being able to change a patient’s smile in a way that creates a personal difference. On his path to becoming a dentist he received his B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY and graduated from S.U.N.Y., School of Dentistry in Buffalo, NY in 1982.  He completed his residency at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington in 1983.

Dr. Fischer is a member of the American Dental Association, Vermont State Dental Society, and the Champlain Valley Dental Society.  His volunteer work includes Fellowship of the Wheel (a mountain bike group), Friends of the Missisquoi Bay, the Dental Hygiene program at Vermont State Technical College and Trout Unlimited.  In his free time he enjoys alpine skiing, fishing, mountain biking, and adventure travel.  He and his wife, Michelle, run a bed and breakfast out of their home in Hinesburg.
