Dr. Charles Bookwalter

For “Dr. Chuck” Bookwalter it is very rewarding to gain a child’s trust and challenging to keep it.  He graduated from the Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1976. During his initial 6 years of general dentistry he found his passion for working with children. He received his M.S. and Certificate in Pediatric Specialty from the University of Michigan in 1984 and served in the U.S. Navy as a Pediatric Dentist.  He is board certified by the American Board Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Vermont Society of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, Vermont State Dental Society and Champlain Valley Dental Society. He is licensed for conscious sedation and serves as a consultant to the Examination Committee for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Bookwalter is originally from Mansfield, Ohio, and currently lives in Burlington with his wife, Carol, of 34 years. Two of their four children have married and they now have two grandsons. Skiing with his children is his favorite outing. He also enjoys fishing and flying.
