If one were to quasi-rhetorically ask how many local families have taken their children to Timberlane Dental's Shelburne office on Route 7, it is easy to imagine the air filling with hands. And the hands would be sporting "thumbs up" indicators, based on the feedback this 20 plus year old dental practice has garnered.

It is our sincere pleasure to announce that Dr. Jeff Berkowitz received an award at Yankee Dental Congress on opening night, recognizing his untiring efforts and significant accomplishments with regard to the VSDS and furthering the quality and availability of dental care in VT. The 2012 Presidential Awards Ceremony & Reception was held on Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 at the Seaport Hotel.

South Burlington Dentist Receives 2011 Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry
CHICAGO (August 2011)—The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Brad Turner, DMD, FAGD, of South Burlington, Vermont, received the association’s 2011 Fellowship award during the AGD 2011 Annual Meeting & Exhibits, held July 28 to 31 in San Diego, California. The AGD is a professional association of more than 37,000 general dentists dedicated to staying up to date in the profession through continuing education to better serve the public.
The Fellowship award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Turner completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive exam and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD.
As a recipient of the Fellowship award, Dr. Turner joins more than 7,000 active AGD Fellows who understand that providing great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements.
Dr. Turner graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1998 and currently practices dentistry in South Burlington, VT at Timberlane Dental Group. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Turner is a member of the American Dental Association, and the Vermont State Dental Society.
Dr. Turner and his wife, Sonyia, have two children, Tatum and Taryn.

Dr. Tom Fischer recently presented a paper at the 2011 annual meeting of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists in Providence, Rhode Island which was selected as "Best Paper" of the meeting. Subsequently, he will be presenting that paper at the 2012 annual meeting of the Italian Orthodontic Society in Bolzano, Italy.
